Our Walks - Niederwerth

A Swan in the Rhein Fluß= River
The Church in Niederwerth - not ours unfortunately
Don’t let the photo fool you she looks happy now, but she
doesn’t stay that way for long in the car or in the Kinderwagon =
Stroller.  I usually end up carrying her
and pushing the stroller at the end to keep her
The Bridge from Niederwerth to Vallendar
from crying so loud through all
the streets, I wish I had someone to take a picture of that.  She is getting so big to do that though, in
fact an old German man, commented as we said Good day in German how big she is
as I carried her, pushing the stroller – oh well!
They are all very active here.  We see people cycling, roller blading, running, walking, playing soccer, working in the fields all the time.

Apparently they grow lot's of strawberries and vegetables here on the island of Niederwerth.  I am excited for the season!  Many people come her for that.

It looks so green and beautiful there. Love the pictures. So glad that everyone is so active there - what a great lifestyle.

And fresh strawberries and veggies - yum. Let us know when the strawberries are in season - we'll take note and try to visit then :)

I think it will be June/July when the strawberries are in season! It's funny you say green and beautiful, it is beautiful, but still so barren, spring is starting to come and the beauty will just multiply! I posted the recipe in honor of you - at your request :)
