Ella crawled for the first time on Thursday 17 March. Thankfully she did it when her Papa was home and with her, especially since that is not very often. He is the best Papa and loves to be involved, he was so afraid that she would do it when we were still in the US without him, but she held out! I can't get the video to load, Schade=too bad/bummer. But here is a photo also.
Friday Ella and I went to Frankfurt with some women from our church Branch. It was a celebration for our Women's organization birthday, the Relief Society. It was a beautiful program and thankfully someone translated it all, so I had a headset. Unfortunately Ella cried pretty much the whole car ride there and back until she fell asleep. I felt so bad for my new friends that were taking us and kept apologizing they were so nice about it. Ella just really doesn't like being in the car sometimes.
We went to some friends house on Saturday for Kaffee und Kuchen, Coffee and cake though we don't drink coffee, that is what you call it anyway. It is a very German thing to get together in the late afternoon or so and have tea, juice or cake and just visit. Peter and Angela are the couple Georg stayed with when he first got here. They have guest rooms in their house. They are super nice and have adopted us into their family here. They even got Ella a music book with pictures too of Mickey Mouse and some German songs I can learn, she LOVES it.

Sounds like you are already fitting in and making great friends. And I hear more from you now that you live on the other side of the world than when you lived here! I love it.
