Welcome to Our Second Home

So I know I haven't posted pictures of our first home. It was really a darling place for us to start our lives together and when it came time to sell our contract it was easy as snapping our fingers, but I will probably do so at some point. For those who have seen it we have family anxious to see our place here, so here it is. You are all welcome to come, we can easily convert our dining room to a guest room, that's the best we can do for now. But our place is much larger than our last, so we can!


We have a walk in closet which is a great step up from our last place and as you saw a pantry and a real kitchen. We also have our own laundry room! The dresser you see in our bedroom was a great find at IKEA's AS IS, the box was ripped up and there was possible damage so they couldn't sell it at the regular price of $229, so we got it for a steal at $57. It was a risk, but nothing was wrong with it, all pieces in places to every screw and only one tiny unoticeable scratch. This is a view from our balcony to the pool.

These birds happened to be spending the afternoon on our balcony. We see birds and bunnies all the time around here. By the pool there is a mother bird and her two little baby birds in the nest we like to watch. But these two birds I like to think of as love birds. Melissa calls Georg and I love birds!
