We went out again on a beautiful Sunday for a drive to discover more of Minnesota's beauty. We just looked at a map and saw an area with many lakes, easy to find in the land of 10,000 lakes and headed out. We found a beautiful area with many homes right along the lake, their backyards are very enviable with a beach and dock right to the lake. All have their boats. Georg and I dreamed of such a thing. We figure we can build a lake behind the family country home in Germany that I adore so much, though it wouldn't be anywhere as breathtaking as this large lake. I guess if you want such a thing Minnesota is a great place to find it. We found a public access area of the lake with a dock and a small beach where we waded with our feet in the water. I tell Georg I insist that our next outing be on a Saturday so we can spend more of the day at the place and lake we find and so that I can go swimming. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Later on in that drive we found some brand new million dollar homes, I guess that is easy to find around Minnesota lakes as well. The water is really clear too, I don't know that you can tell in the picture, but I tried.
