Our New Car

Our New car - a 1996 Ford Mondeo Wagon, it is the same car Mama and Papa have ours is green.  Not quite the German car Georg dreams of but...We are grateful to have a car as we need it to get to church and will try to keep it for mostly just that as gas = Benzin is very expensive here.  It has about 260,000 km = 160,000 miles and has a small dent in the door, a little rust underneath, though not bad, but other than that it seems like it is in good condition.  We hope it lasts us well without repairs while we are poor students and getting settled into life after  Notice we have lot's of trunk space for your luggage.  This style of car is very common here.

Laura, I can't believe you are in Germany. When I talked to you a couple months ago you where here in the states. We are so excited for you and your family. Ella is beautiful and I couldn't believe how big she is in your first few posts. She's a real doll. Your car is awesome! I know how you feel about hoping it lasts a long time. I love all the picutes of the buildings and adventures you are having. I think of you often and hope your doing well. Keep blogging!! Tell Georg and Ella hello for us.
