Fun Catch-up

We went to the laundromat = (Wasche Salon - sounds prettier in German) two weeks ago - I am so behind, so we could use a dryer, since we don't have one and we saw this car parked on the side of the road.  I hoped to get a better picture, but he ended up next to us at the light.  The car is covered with real grass - he was delighted we took the photo!  Things like this aren't too strange for Koblenz at this time.  They have been preparing for BUGA, the national Garden Show that happens every two years in Germany.  They anticipate 2 million visitors this year for the show spanning 6 months April to October and have invested over 100 million.  It is here just down the river from us in Koblenz!  We have enjoyed watching them prepare for it and hope we can go! 

While waiting for the laundry, we got some Italian Eis and I let Ella try a little bit of mine.  She made a funny face, I wonder from the sugar or the cold? 
We also couldn't resist this photo, as we parked our car by the river here in Niederwerth.  Can you believe this is a street?  What a fun sign isn't it warning you of the river ahead?  Georg likes to drive down it and try to tell me our breaks aren't working, lovely isn't that!!  Thankfully they work everytime!  I hope that continues to be the case!
